The concept of a hydrogen power vehicle is exactly what the Audi H-Tron Quattro Concept is. This is a vehicle that is powered by a hydrogen cell as well as a battery pack. They both are capable of providing over a hundred kilo watt of power on demand. This vehicle has a very futuristic interior design. It may be what we have to look for in the future in interior design for motor vehicle.
Audi H-Tron Quattro Concept – Redesign Features
The interior of the Audi H-Tron Quattro Concept has the look and feel of a space ship. The color scheme of the vehicle’s interior suggests hydrogen. All the switches equipped in the vehicle are touch operated, the ones on the center console and those on the steering wheel spokes. There is a large display installed on the dash with the LED surface instrument cluster providing info on your speed, mile, range, temperature and such. There is an LED touch panel below the infotainment display. The passengers to the rear of the vehicle have access to their own LED control panel that they can use to control temperature and the screen display installed on the back of both front seats.
The most outstanding aspect of the Audi H-Tron Quattro Concept is its aerodynamics. The headlights are almost flushed with the front of the vehicle and they use the Matrix laser tech. OLED elements are incorporated in the headlights. There is a bug but not too gaudy front octagonal grille with four rings that are in the center. The side rear view mirrors are replaced by cameras. This also enhances the aerodynamics of the vehicle. The rear of the vehicle has no wraparound designs. The tail lights are almost flushed with the rear end of the vehicle. There are no exhaust pipes at the very plain rear end of the vehicle. The rear end of the vehicle only boasts the tail lights and chrome insert at the bottom of the vehicle. There is also a solar roof installed that further boost the performance and capability of the vehicle.
Audi H-Tron Quattro Concept Engine Options
The engine of the Audi H-Tron Quattro Concept is unlike that equipped within any other road vehicle. The engine combines the hydrogen fuel cell and the battery pack to power the electrified Quattro system. The battery pack is recharged by the solar roof and the hydrogen cell will take less than five minutes to refill. There are two motors in the vehicle, one for the front and the other for the back that combines to produce 405 lbs-ft of torque. This system is very fuel-efficient and if the fact that hydrogen wasn’t so hard to get and so expensive it may be the most suitable fuel and system. The adaptive air suspension equipped within the vehicle provides a smooth and comfortable riding experience on its very stylish twenty-two inches wheels.
