The other option is a 3.0-liter V6 engine that can deliver 240 hp and 360 Nm torque. Supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine will also be offered. Whatever engine type is fitted, it will be matted with either a 6-speed or 8-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy is expected to be between 25 mpg and 30 mpg on the highway.

The new Land Rover Defender 2017 model is expected to be on sale in the middle of 2016. The price for the basic model is speculated to be somewhere in the region of $55,000.
